Property Tax is assessed on the basis of carpet or built up area of the property.
Property Rateable Value is calculated considering following factors :
- Zone and Ward in which property situated.
- Carpet or Built up area of the property.
- Type of property - Residential / Non-Residential / Mixed / Hospital / Industrial
/ Open Land / Hotel.
- Type of construction - RCC Construction / Simple Construction / Patra Shed.
- Standard Rent approved for such ward and zone by Municipal Corporation.
- Rateable Value = Area X Standard Rent X 12 - 10%(Standard Deduction).
Property Bill is calculated based on Rateable Value of property and Rate of Taxes
as applicable for such property.
